We are excited to announce a gift of $15,000 from the Fogg Charitable Trust!
This grant will go toward the major renovation of the Camilla Public Library, currently being planned.
We greatly appreciate the support of the Fogg Charitable Trust, and the impact it will have on our library and our community.
Here's more about the Foggs from foggtrust.org: Edward C. and Lisbeth A. Fogg were partners both in business and in marriage. They met and married in Miami, Florida where they applied their many talents to developing and managing Farm Stores (a convenience store similar to 7 Eleven) that specialized in their own brand of milk, bread, and ice cream. They owned several properties in South Florida, including a 1,000 acre grove, Land O’ Sun. The story behind the naming of the grove came from Ed’s mother who told her husband and children when living out of Florida that she wanted to return to the land of sun. While in Miami, the Foggs were actively involved with the Miami Art Museum, The University of Miami, The Miami Ballet and several hospitals. Their home place was called Oak Head because of the beautiful surrounding oaks.
